Things To Do In Wadi Rum
What is there to see in Wadi Rum? Sand, rock, the stars…But it is the combination of the beautiful rock formations and colours that come out of the red sand that makes it one of the most amazing places to see in the Middle East. If you are looking for some activities outside of your campsite, try and organise some of the following:
- Go on a day Jeep tour to see some of the surrounding sand dunes, rock formations, and petroglyphs
- Watch the sunrise and sunset
- Stargazing is best done away from the lights of the campsite, bring a blanket and find a nice place on a nearby sand dune to admire the galaxy
- Smoke a shisha and sample the bedouin cuisine
- Enjoy live music and campfire dancing.
