How To Make Oat Mylk

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Jar or Bottle

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats Old fashioned style
  • 4 Cups Filtered Water

Instructions

  • Add rolled oats and water into the blender, and blend on high speed for approximately 1 minute.
  • Pour mixture into a strainer over a bowl, gently move the pulp around to let all the liquid through. Be careful not to press down on the pulp as this can make your oat milk slimy.
  • Place the leftover oat pulp into another bowl and rinse the strainer.
  • Strain the liquid an additional time.
  • Pour the mixture into a glass jar or bottle with a sealed lid.
  • Store your oat milk in the fridge for up to 4 days. Give it a shake before use.

Notes

If you would like your oat milk to be sweeter, add a date to the mixture.
