Imagine, you’re going to drive your car all day at max speed. You’re filling up at the station and you decide to treat your engine to “premium” instead of regular. Fancy.
Not only does the car make it to the destination. But it feels like it’s hardly done any work at all. There’s no wear’n tear. In fact, it could go again, another round.
You see where this is going… Apart from being packed with nutrients to make your body really work with ease and just keep on going, “green” really can taste great.

But really, whose got time in the morning to chop fruit & veggies?
Your morning time is precious
The whip and drink is all you have the time and energy for in the AM. Like filling your car at the station. You just want to load-up and get on your way.
It’s really not hard. We set aside 30 minutes on the weekend to do some green smoothie prep, and it is a lifesaver.
The choppings are stored in different jars, containers or reusable bags in the freezer!
Our personal favourites are these cute stackable round containers.
The 2 minute process:
- Take out a portion of your ready prepared choppings, tip it in the blender
- Add a cup of water and some ice
- Squeeze half a lemon (for a fresh ting)
- Whip and drink!
Ingredients for a quick and easy green smoothie
- Kale
- Spinach
- Apple
- Pear
- Celery
- Cucumber
- Lemon
We chop these all up into equal parts. Separate one cup of greens per drink.
To spice it up, we will occasionally throw in a little ginger or turmeric. That’s if you want an extra little kickstarter.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Kale
- 1 Cup Spinach
- 2 Apples
- 2 Pears
- 1 Celery
- 1 Cucumber
When Ready to serve
- Water
- Lemon (squeezed)
Instructions
- Chop ingredients into small pieces
- Separate equal portions and package in containers
- Freeze containers
